We are a small local business specializing in things that depend on the changing of the seasons, time, heat, moisture, etc. We also sell living things. Because of this, we cannot offer cash refunds, however we can accept returns on a case-by-case basis and issue store credit upon receipt of the return (with live plants, please see the next FAQ).
To initiate a return, please email info@sixofcupsworkshop.com with your name, order confirmation, and reason for return.

Our top priorities for packing and shipping plants are:
Finding the most secure way for the plant’s physical health
Causing the least amount of plant stress as much as we can
Doing our part to avoid non-biodegradable/single use plastic packing waste. We do this by salvaging used boxes and packing materials in clean, working condition. Often they will not always be uniform.
Any plant that has gone through the mail in a box will have some minor leaf disturbance and a small amount of stray soil. This is normal. We do our best to keep the plant happy and all the soil in the pot during transit, but it may still escape.
The plant may drop a few leaves as it gets settled into its new home. This is also normal, and 9 out of 10 times it will bounce back.
Other precautions we take are:
Treating each plant with organic neem oil (and then rinsed with regular water) before it ships out, to eliminate any possibility of fungus or other pests.
Only shipping plants when the weather temperatures between us and you are safely above freezing.
In the event that these precautions aren’t enough, we accept plant returns for store credit on a case by case basis. To initiate such a return, please email info@sixofcupsworkshop.com with your name, order confirmation, and reason for return.

We do not source anything from Amazon, for neither business nor personal use. The reason we have those boxes is because they are donated.
As mentioned above, we are doing our part to remediate the creation of single-use plastic and other non biodegradable packaging waste by salvaging used boxes and packing materials in clean, working condition. As a result, the packaging might not be always uniform.
